Research interests
My research has often had a focus on the role of the researcher within contemporary social research, revolving around questions about reflexivity, social research as critique, marginalised perspectives and participatory research. My main interest in these studies has been the conditions of possibility of social scientific knowledge production in “post-postmodern” times: What kinds of knowledge claims are made, from which positions and to what effect?

My current research is part of the project After the Success with the New Generation Antidepressants: Experiences, Practices, Discourses and Changes of the Self, financed by Riksbankens jubileumsfond (2010-2015). The research team for this project also includes Kerstin Sandell (principal investigator, Lund University), Shai Mulinari (Lund University), and Anna Bredström (Linköping University).
