CKS – an Academy for Municipalities

The Centre for Municipality Studies (CKS) is a research centre within Linköping University

CKS focuses on questions and challenges of major importance for local municipalities. The activities are the result of several years of co-operation between the university and the municipal sector. Priority is placed on collaboration with different parts of the research community. The main purpose is to generate knowledge through research, support, evaluation and seminars. CKS forms an important bridge between the research community and the member municipalities.
