Researchers connected to ACSIS are involved in multifarious projects, individually as well as in co-operation with others. ACSIS is also involved in a series of application and plans for future research projects, in co-operation with relevant researchers and departments of Linköping University as well as elsewhere, for instance in various European networks.
ACSIS and Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) at the University of Western Sydney are currently developing such a joint research project entitled Culturalisation and Globalisation. The project focuses on how the deeply interrelated processes of Culturalisation and Globalisation characterise the present era. It spans over two to four years and it will involve several workshops and Ph.D. courses on related topics.
